of the Battle of Marathon

SPARTA COLLEGE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
joined forces to produce this
musical documentary on
the History of Sparta in a
Super Audio-Visual Experience
entitled:
PROUD TO BE A SPARTAN.

This non-professional production
takes a fresh look at
the SPARTATHLON RACE
reviving memories of the Battle of Marathon
as it stops at archaeological sites
and places of exceeding natural beauty
along the way,
showing them in the light of
the sacrifice of the 300 at Thermopylae.

In seven minutes this short but discerning
marriage of images and music
enhanced with features from the motion picture ''300'',
excites its audience and captures the imagination
inspiring awe and moving the mind.
A veritable feast of sound and colour
set against the background of endless time,
it takes you off to THERMOPYLAE
with LEONIDAS and his 300 men
while its melodies carry you back to Sparta
in the company of the heroic SPARTATHLON runners.
